Founder of Gallant VBC; Aside from leading Gallant VBC, Coach Samm spends his time coaching the girls Junior Varsity team at Liberty High School in Brentwood, CA and varsity boys team at Cornerstone Christian High School in Antioch, CA.

Co-founder of Gallant VBC; Coach Mica went to the Girls Junior National Championships 3 out of her 5 years of club volleyball, with her teams finishing Top 30 (15s) and Top 15 (17s) in the American division, as well as Top 25 (18s) in the USA division. Beyond indoor volleyball, she showcased her skills on the sand, competing in multiple beach tournaments during her seasons in 2013 and 2014. Her achievements include a 2nd place finish in the Harbor Beach Open, 1st in the NCVA Back to School tournament, and securing a spot in the Top 5 in multiple California Beach Volleyball Association (CBVA) tournaments. Despite her full-time role as a dental assistant, Coach Mica dedicates her free time to helping coach various teams at Gallant VBC, embodying a true love for the sport and dedication to nurturing young talent.

Felix started playing volleyball in 9th grade at Pittsburg High School for Paul Lacasse
and won All League honors twice at the setter position as well as BVAL Player of the week his senior year. His club team placed 2nd in the NCVA regionals tournament in the Silver division during his first club season as a senior. He later played at SF State’s men's club and coached at Pittsburg High School. Felix loves coaching athletes and encouraging them to reach for the stars. Outside of coaching, Felix enjoys spending time with his young family and staying in touch with old friends.
